Research project on the impact of cancer on young adults

Janet Aucoin is a Master of Social Work student at The Faculty of Social Work (FSW) at Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) in Toronto, Canada. She is doing a research project on the impact of cancer on young adults. Janet is looking for young adults aged 18-35 who were diagnosed with cancer sometime after their 18th birthday. She is hoping that this research will translate into real change in the way that young adults with cancer are diagnosed, treated and followed by health care professionals. Please add to the voice of young adults by helping to identify how young adults with cancer differ from other age groups who are facing cancer.
